Every total solar eclipse in the coming millennia is already dated, located, and catalogued by NASA. This project treats each of them as a monument-in-waiting. In the sibling archive-engine repo, a headless AI agent gathers cultural and geographical context for the next few eclipses in advance and, at the moment of totality, commits a self-contained generative SVG "monument" to the archive. This site is the read-only viewer.
No monument has been made yet. The first one will be committed by the archive engine at the next moment of totality.
Until then, a pale blue dot stands in — a small tribute to Sagan's reminder that everything happening on this project happens on the one place we all live.
